PTT mic safety concern

"The ear piece works great and I can wear all day. The PTT mic on the other hand does not work well. Dispatch will get my key up however I am not heard when transmitting. Was a waste of money for a product I do not feel safe to use."

Shady AF!

"First and foremost, I got the maverick kit which came out to about $350 all said and done. I have not used the Bluetooth PTT button because I do not have a take home vehicle and truth be told I have no need for the button but it's kinda cool. I will say, the clarity with the PTT mic is very good. I have not had any issue with my voice sounding distorted or unclear at all so that is a huge win. The original tubeless 360 earpiece is extremely comfortable. I have small-medium ears and I have no issue with it staying in my ear all day long and most of the time I forget it's even there. I never have to touch it or adjust it at all. HOWEVER, the audio quality for the earpiece is my biggest issue. My agency uses Motorola APX6000 radios and with the original 360 earpiece I can hear everything crystal clear provided I am in a somewhat quiet environment. If the environment is not quiet enough (window down while driving, loud diesel vehicle or and type of air craft nearby) then I can not hear anything on the radio. Common sense would say turn up the audio, but that's the issue. If you turn the volume up more than about 50% then the radio traffic becomes heavily distorted and impossible to understand. For a communication system that cost $350 that I can only use effectively in quiet environments, I'm no mathematician but the numbers don't add up to me. Especially considering that if you want to have something that is water proof it costs a pretty penny when I could get a Motorola shoulder mic for $160 that is water proof. I will continue using this system until something breaks but unless some significant upgrades are made, I probably will look into other options. In summary, very comfortable but the audio quality just isn't worth the money. Additionally, when trying to post my review of this product the customer service team did reach out to me and said they would assist in trying to rectify the issue but never followed through on anything. Finally, after failing to rectify the issues I put in my review, they failed to post my review AT ALL. They seem to be more interested in maintaining their high review records rather than posting the actual customer reviews."

Very comfortable but not very loud!

Disappointed

"Super disappointed. Lots of flashy marketing and l cool pictures, but, subpar product. This technology isn't where it needs to be yet. Maybe in a few more years. Claim to have a 30 day return policy, but, then you pay almost $20 for shipping... Each way.... Returned all items, only received partial refund. Again, superb disappointed."

Horrible PTT MIC, ear piece was good

"The PTT MIC would only work intermediately. It was unsafe for law enforcement"

Mitchell S. (1/5)

So far, it’s great.

"I've tried several ear pieces and I didn't like how they plugged my ear and would take it off often. This one is awesome because you could hardly feel you have it on. I'm hoping the durability is great on it….so we shall see."

Worth Getting

"I will start out by saying that overall I am very pleased with my purchase. As a user of the old tube style ear pieces for years this is significantly more comfortable. The key to having a true feeling of it not being there is to have enough free cord so there is no pulling. My complain comes not in the ear piece but in the PPT piece. First off it just feels a bit cheap, it probably isn't but it just doesn't feel strong like what I am used to having. The other biggest part I am concerned about is the clip on the back of the PPT piece. I wish it was larger and more significant. I have it clipped to my Molle straps on my vest and the clip is not long enough to secure around a strap and feel like it has minimal pressure. Additionally I am not a fan of plastic clips, I always feel they should be metal."

No instructions

"No instructions came with the product. It's pretty self explanatory, however, with just a quick look at the ear piece, I wasn't sure how to put it together."

Flex 360 Earpiece wire fraying after 6 months use

"After I purchased the Flex 360 earpiece in November 2022. By May 2023 the protective coating sealing the wires wore off and caused the wires to fray and now the speaker goes in and out. I love the earpiece but no means durable for everyday use."

Great low profile, ok sound.

"Comfort and lo profile are excellent. But with the small size, the sound crispness is lacking. Due to this, there is a tendency to need radio transmissions repeated in densely populated noisy environments. In addition the M12 connection plastic is cheap and flexes which can make the radio inoperable if not lined up and tightened perfectly."
