"Big thank you to Amanda who helped me with connecting the 3. 5mm jack into the PTT properly. I lt take's quiet a bit of pressure to properly seat the ear piece to the ptt but once it is this set up works like a dream. You cant go wrong with it."

Mic didn’t even work straight
"Mic didn't even work straight out of the package. It was missing pins and didn't sit flush on my radio. Communication sucks with N ear and took 2 weeks to get a refund but they still kept the shipping costs I payed for their broken product. If it was broke straight out the package no way it would have lasted long out on patrol."

Read before purchasing
"I have had two different ear piece set ups from this company. The first one was just the ear piece that plugged directly into my portable mic. When It worked I really liked it, it eventually stopped allowing any sound with no visible damage. I was told the warranty would not cover it as it was likely damaged by me but I dont remember doing anything to not make it work. I then purchased this set up thinking it would be better with the braided cord. Everything worked nicely for about 4 months and AGAIN the ear piece stopped allowing sound but the PTT appeared to be working. I did not bother calling about warranty and it probably was my fault again. Will not be purchasing another ear piece from this company."

"I am 5 stars happy with this rig, but it has taken some getting used to. Not the earpiece, that was awesome from the instant I started using it. The good: Loosing the acoustic tube of a typical surveillance setup is fantastic. No more blocked sound from moisture. Even with a semi custom open ear mold, sometimes after a long run my ear would hurt. This thing is almost like it is not there. Like to the point that I do not even pull it out when they call lunch. I do not pull it out when we go off radio at wrap but still have an hour of work to do. I just leave it in. It does not bother me and being in my ear is way safer for the super tiny speaker than flopping around so it could get smashed during wrap. It is very clear, and lets even more sound from around me in than my open ear mold. (with the standard tip it comes with). They include 1 other tip (the Double Flange Ear Tip) if you want ambient sound attenuation. My coworkers say the mike sounds very clear, and I have had no complaints. The Bad: Not really bad, just took some adjustment. This cable is short! 32" (81cm) short. This is much shorter than what we are used to with the conventional 2 wire rigs. It is too short to go over your shoulder or up under your shirt. I have adapted to it by having it go from the radio at my back, around my waist, and up to my pocket. If you like (and are used to) the secret service style 2 wire rigs, do not buy this. I have actually fallen in love with it, and I love how small it packs down. I also really like that because the mic is the connection point for the earpiece I can pull the earpiece connector out and then take off my tool belt with the radio and mic attached to the belt, but the earpiece stays in my ear, so it is a quick de-rig and re-rig should I need to. If you want the more conventional set up, I would suggest reading my review for the 2 wire kit before purchase as I recommend the snap lock version vs what you are probably looking at. And the snap lock version comes with an earpiece with a 8" lead wire which is awesome for the way we are used to using these. I am not sure how long the cables are on the snap lock kits, but I know the 2-wire ones are the long cables we are used to as most of my friends bought them."
