The New Gold Standard for PTT
"Ordered this as well as the separate PTT button to go with my existing N-ear Original. I was also told that for my radio I would need a HIROSE power adaptor as the current connector I have did not supply power (just data). The setup arrived perfectly and the instructions were simple enough to follow to get things set up. I took some time and reserved a radio frequency to do all sorts of tests with the PTT Setup to see how it worked. And WOW am I absolutely stunned. First I tested the mic alone on my current HIROSE adapter just to see what would happen, and just like I was told over the phone, not the greatest - virtually no power was being output to the mic, so any transmission I made DID go out, but was barely audible in a quiet room. But, now that I knew what it wasn't supposed to sound like, I swapped out for the powered HIROSE adapter and WOW. The difference was immediate and incredible, and the system worked perfectly regardless of if I put the mic at chest level or down on my waist. After another 5/10 minutes of playing around with that I connected the PTT button to see how the ecosystem worked as a whole. When they say this was an easier connect than the standard arm wires they aren't kidding. I saw the images online but didn't realize JUST how much easier this is to use until I actually threw it all on and together- this thing is absolutely awesome. After another 5/10 of testing all sorts of configurations for the setup, I started getting a bit cheeky with mic placement as well to see how far I could push it- and that's what really put me over the moon. At one point I even tried clipping it under several shirts and the mic was STILL picking up my voice at almost the same volume and quality as when it was placed by my chest. While I haven't had a chance to test it in super noisy situations yet, theoretically it should operate the same as- if not strictly better than- my old mic, and I am VERY excited to see how it goes. Already it's a massive improvement over the standard outdated arm wires and works infinitely better. It requires a few pieces to get set up, but for the comfort and ease of use it is more than worth it to me."

Absolutely The Best
"I bought the single ear piece over a year ago. The customer service, the quality, and the comfort was "life changing". I wish I found this product at the beginning of my career. Many of my colleuges have taken the leap to N-ear because it is simply the best quality and most comfortable earpiece available on the market. If you invest in N-ear, you will NOT be disappointed! I never worry about buying accessories like the mic and ptt button. Im excited to see whatelse they offer."
